John Sissons match worn and signed 1964 FA Cup Final shirt.
Saturday 2nd May 1964 was a special day in West Ham United history, it was the day we won our first major trophy at Wembley Stadium vs Preston North End in front of 100.000 spectators. It was also the start of the golden years in our history, as we won 3 FA Cups, a ECWC Final, and second division championship, as well as losing a League Cup Final, another ECWC Final, losing and sharing 2 Charity Shield games in the space of 17 seasons. John Sissons was only 19 years old when he became West Ham?s first ever goal scorer in an FA Cup Final, when in the 11th minute he equalised to make it 1-1, further goals from Geoff Hurst, and a last minute winner by Ronnie Boyce sent the East Londoners delirious. It?s an absolute pleasure to own this piece of history.
